Role Summary
Primary Responsibilities Teaching (PRT) Mathematics Teacher vacancy in Amravati for the academic year. Plan daily lessons aligned with school curriculum and Maharashtra State Board standards. Deliver engaging classes for classes 1 to 5 with focus on foundational numeracy and problem-solving skills. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students and parents. Support school events and extracurricular activities as needed.

Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare lesson plans for Mathematics classes 1 to 5 using activity-based and experiential learning methods.
2. Teach number systems, basic geometry, measurement, and data handling as per prescribed syllabus.
3. Conduct morning circle time discussions to build mathematical thinking and curiosity among young learners.
4. Grade assignments, worksheets, and conduct periodic unit tests with clear feedback.
5. Organize math games, puzzles, and competitions within the classroom to reinforce concepts.
6. Collaborate with PRT team to plan interdisciplinary projects involving Mathematics.
7. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
8. Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Mathematics.
9. Assist in preparing students for inter-house and inter-school Mathematics quizzes.

Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary grades.
Valid TET or CTET certificate (preferred but not mandatory).
Fluency in English and Marathi (ability to teach bilingually is an advantage).

Good to Have
Experience teaching in Maharashtra State Board schools.
Familiarity with Vedic Math techniques or Montessori-inspired math activities.
Prior experience with digital tools like Smart Class or Google Classroom.
Participation in math Olympiad training or similar programs.
Strong communication skills with parents and school leadership.
