PRT Dance Teacher Job in Mumbai City, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Euro School in Mumbai City seeks a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to inspire young minds through the vibrant art of dance. Role
This PRT Dance Teacher will lead dance classes, fostering technical skills, cultural awareness, and artistic expression. The teacher will also assist in organizing school events, performances, and workshops, ensuring dance remains a lively part of student life.
Qualifications
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory for this PRT Dance Teacher position. A graduate background in dance or related arts is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset for classroom teaching in Mumbai City. Knowledge of Indian classical dance forms, contemporary styles, or Bollywood influences would be beneficial for Euro School’s diverse student body.
Experience
The PRT Dance Teacher should have at least two years of experience teaching dance to children. Prior experience in school settings or dance academies is advantageous. Familiarity with Mumbai City’s school curriculum and adaptability to Euro School’s structured yet creative teaching methods is essential.
Responsibilities
Teach dance classes covering fundamentals, technique, and performance skills. Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students’ ages and skill levels. Ensure safety standards in dance practice, including proper warm-ups and equipment handling. Participate in school festivals, cultural fairs, and inter-school competitions to showcase dance talent. Maintain records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Compensation
The PRT Dance Teacher will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.21,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
