Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science subjects at the secondary level, covering topics like programming fundamentals, data structures, and basic algorithms. Prepare and maintain well-organized classroom resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital learning materials. Collaborate with the faculty to integrate modern teaching methods, such as coding workshops and project-based learning. Ensure compliance with school policies on discipline, attendance, and academic integrity.
Assist in organizing extracurricular activities like robotics clubs or coding competitions to foster innovation and teamwork. Keep up-to-date with educational trends in Computer Science to adapt teaching methods effectively. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. Possess a graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Computer Science with a focus on teaching methodologies.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is required. Familiarity with CBSE or state board syllabi for Computer Science is preferred. Experience in using educational technology tools and platforms is a plus.
Salary and Employment Type
