Senior Physics Faculty with 8+ years of college teaching experience
Role Summary
The selected candidate will lead the Physics department at Pune International School & Jr. College. Responsibilities include setting academic direction, coordinating faculty development, and driving research output. The role demands proven leadership in curriculum innovation and student mentoring.
What You Will Do
Design and update the Physics syllabus for undergraduate programs at Pune International School & Jr. College. Ensure alignment with UGC and Maharashtra State Board standards for Physics Academic Jobs in Punecity, Pune.
Mentor junior faculty and conduct periodic classroom observations to maintain teaching quality across the PGT Physics Position in Pune, Maharastra.
Oversee end-semester examinations, moderation of question papers, and timely result declaration for all Physics PGT Jobs in Pune.
Collaborate with the Dean’s office on budget planning for lab upgrades and equipment for Physics Faculty Recruitment in Maharastra.
Guide M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in thesis work and experimental projects within the department.
Publish research papers in UGC-CARE and Scopus-indexed journals regularly.
Organize national-level seminars and workshops on emerging trends in Physics education.
Coordinate with industry partners for internship and placement opportunities for Physics graduates.
Represent the college at university senate meetings and academic councils.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Physics with minimum 55% marks and a Ph.D. from a recognized university.
NET/SET qualified candidates with 8+ years of college teaching experience in Physics PGT Vacancy in Pune.
Preference for Associate Professors or Professors handling graduate-level Physics courses.
Experience in handling administrative roles such as HOD or Coordinator will be an advantage.
Academic Projects
Supervise Ph.D. scholars in experimental and theoretical Physics research.
Encourage interdisciplinary projects linking Physics with Engineering and Environmental Science.
