Vikhe Patil Memorial School | Pune seeks an experienced TGT Physics Teacher to join its esteemed team in Punecity. Responsibilities:
1. Teach Physics to students in classes 9 to 12, aligning curriculum with CBSE/State Board guidelines.
2. Prepare engaging lesson plans, experiments, and practical demonstrations to enhance understanding.
3. Assess student performance through continuous evaluation, including homework, projects, and exams.
4. Collaborate with teachers to design interdisciplinary activities that strengthen scientific reasoning.
5. Maintain a well-equipped physics lab, ensuring safety standards and proper instrumentation.
6. Guide students in lab experiments and practical work, ensuring hands-on learning opportunities.
7. Participate in school events, including science fairs, competitions, and extracurricular programs.
8. Stay updated with latest advancements in physics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
To apply, a postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience in Physics, preferably at the secondary level, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be highly valued. A strong command of English and Marathi is required for effective communication with students and parents.
