Teaching Philosophy and Approach for Evs
Our ideal candidate will adopt an interdisciplinary approach to teaching Evs, incorporating practical activities, field trips, and hands-on experiments to engage students and make the subject more interactive. Additionally, the teacher will encourage students to participate in environmental activities and projects that promote a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Evs lessons to students of Classes I to V
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school's Evs program
- Organize and conduct environmental activities, field trips, and experiments
- Encourage students to participate in environmental projects and competitions
- Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress in Evs
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Evs with other subjects
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school events
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance
Subject-Specific Qualifications and Expertise
The ideal candidate should hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a specialization in Evs or Environmental Science. A TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. We are looking for a teacher with a passion for the subject and a strong understanding of the Indian curriculum.
