Job Title: Psychological Counsellor None Teacher

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychological Counsellor None teacher to join our team at our Tier 3 school. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group counselling sessions to students in need of emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child psychology and the ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment.

Class sizes: The teacher will have a maximum of 15 students in their caseload at any given time, with a student-teacher ratio of 1:5.

Additional Skills:

- Must have a strong understanding of child psychology and development.
- Be able to create and implement individualized counselling plans for students.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
- Provide support and guidance to students in need of emotional support.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student learning and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
- Achieve a minimum of 90% student satisfaction rate with counselling services.
- Reduce student stress and anxiety levels by 20% within the first 6 months of employment.

School Culture:

- A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is required.
- A Master's degree in Counselling or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children is required.
- Certification in Counselling or a related field is an asset.
