Role Summary
As a senior member of the sports department at Vidyarambh School in Karanja, Washim, Maharastra, the Sports Director will play a key role in shaping the school's sports culture. Reporting directly to the Principal, the Sports Director will oversee the development of sports programs, supervise staff, and ensure the smooth operation of school sports activities. - Collaborate with the school's marketing team to promote sports programs and events through various channels.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for sports safety, security, and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing sports activities in Maharastra.
- Represent the school in sports-related forums, meetings, and events as required.
Eligibility
To be considered for this Sports Director position, candidates should have a strong educational background, preferably a postgraduate degree (M.A., M.Sc, M.Ed, MBA) in a relevant field such as sports management, physical education, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sports administration, management, or leadership is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful sports program development, staff management, and community engagement. Experience working in a similar role at Vidyarambh School or a comparable institution in Maharastra would be an added advantage.
