Role Summary
The Prt Academic Coordinator Hindi Teacher will lead foundational Hindi learning for young learners in Angul, shaping how children first connect with the language. At Delhi Public School - Nalco, the role blends direct classroom instruction with curriculum oversight for Grades 1 to 5. This position directly impacts 300+ Hindi-speaking students whose daily engagement with the subject begins here. Guiding both teachers and students, you will ensure consistent delivery of age-appropriate Hindi content aligned with national standards.
Your Students
You will teach Hindi to students from diverse Angul backgrounds, many of whom speak Odia or tribal languages at home. Your lessons will build vocabulary, grammar, and storytelling skills early, creating a strong base for higher classes. Beyond lessons, you will nurture reading habits through library visits and local cultural references familiar to children in Angul.
Day-to-Day Duties
Plan and deliver daily Hindi lessons for Grades 1 to 5, using activity-based methods suited to young learners.
Prepare monthly academic plans and teaching aids aligned with Delhi Public School - Nalco’s Hindi curriculum.
Conduct monthly assessments to track progress and identify students needing extra support in Hindi.
Organize Hindi Diwas celebrations and inter-house recitation competitions within the school.
Collaborate with the Prt Academic Coordinator team to integrate cross-subject themes into Hindi projects.
Attend weekly curriculum review meetings with other Hindi teachers to refine lesson plans.
Provide feedback to junior Hindi teachers on classroom delivery and student engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Hindi or equivalent with Hindi as a main subject.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Hindi specialization required.
Minimum 3 years of Hindi teaching experience in primary grades.
Preference for candidates familiar with CBSE or similar board curricula.
Experience in Angul or nearby districts is beneficial but not mandatory.
