Location and Role
Sbd International School | Bhardak is looking for a Music Teacher to work in Bhadrak Rural, Bhadrak, Odisha. The position is full‑time and requires a graduate with at least three years of experience in music administration and program management.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule weekly music events, competitions, and performances for students and staff.
- Coordinate with faculty and parents to ensure smooth execution of concerts and cultural programmes.
- Maintain and update the school’s music library, including procurement of new instruments and sheet music.
- Oversee the maintenance of music equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare monthly reports on music activities, attendance, and budget usage for senior management.
Administrative Leadership
- Lead the music committee, setting objectives and reviewing progress with senior staff.
- Develop and implement policies for music-related extracurricular activities.
- Liaise with external musicians, sponsors, and cultural organisations to enhance the school’s musical outreach.
- Manage the music budget, track expenses, and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
Professional Development and Collaboration
- Attend workshops and conferences to stay current with music education trends and administrative best practices.
- Share insights with faculty to integrate music into broader school initiatives.
- Mentor junior staff involved in music projects, providing guidance on event planning and coordination.
Compensation
Salary ranges from Rs.16,000 to Rs.33,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
