The PGT Biology Teacher at SBD International School, Bhadrak will design and deliver advanced biology curriculum for senior students while fostering scientific inquiry and critical thinking. Based in the rural and urban areas of Bhadrak, this role requires expertise in biology education to inspire the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.
Plan and teach biology classes covering topics like genetics, ecology, and physiology, ensuring alignment with the latest CBSE syllabus. Develop engaging lesson plans, lab activities, and assessments to enhance student understanding and practical skills. Collaborate with the biology department to update resources, textbooks, and experimental setups to meet evolving educational standards. Supervise field trips and extracurricular biology clubs to encourage hands-on learning. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in departmental meetings to refine teaching strategies. Ensure compliance with school policies on safety protocols in biology labs.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Biology or a related field with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience, preferably in senior secondary biology, is essential. No mandatory TET/CTET requirement, but experience in state board curriculum is beneficial.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.38,000 to Rs.70,000 per month in the scenic and educational hub of Bhadrak, Odisha.
