Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Biology lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with the CBSE curriculum and school standards.
Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, lab work and examinations, providing timely feedback and remedial support where needed.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and laboratory inventories, and contribute to departmental meetings and school events.
Guide students in practical work, projects and competitions, fostering a scientific temperament and inquiry‑based learning.
Collaborate with senior faculty to design interdisciplinary activities and support the overall academic goals of the school.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory.
CTET/TET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and laboratory equipment.
Desired Attributes
Strong communication skills in English and Odia, enabling clear explanation of complex concepts.
Ability to motivate senior students and nurture their interest in science streams.
Organised, punctual and committed to the holistic development of learners.
