About Sbd International School | Jajpur

SBD International School opened its doors in 2015 under the guidance of the Shri Rameshwar Charitable Trust, and in the years since it has become a familiar part of daily life in Badapatoli, Korai, along Jajpur Road. The campus, spread over more than nine thousand square metres, was built on land that once hosted local gatherings and festivals, and the school’s presence feels like a natural extension of that communal spirit. With the CBSE affiliation number 1530419 and school code 16256, we have watched several batches of students move from the modest classrooms to the wider world, each carrying a piece of Jajpur’s heritage with them.

Our motto, “Gain Knowledge Reach Greater Heights,” is not just a phrase on the wall; it reflects the values we try to live by each day. We encourage curiosity, responsibility and respect for the culture that surrounds us, and we regularly invite artisans, farmers and elders to share their stories with the children. The school’s ties with the neighbourhood are reinforced through outreach programmes, health camps and environmental drives that involve parents, teachers and students alike, creating a sense that learning never stops at the school gate. The principal, Dr. Kalpataru Sahoo, often reminds us that education must be rooted in the realities of the community while opening doors to broader horizons.

In the classroom, learning is guided by a blend of traditional rigor and modern methods. Our 44 classrooms and six well‑equipped laboratories, including computer labs, support a curriculum that balances theory with hands‑on exploration. A team of 73 teachers, ranging from senior PGTs to enthusiastic PRTs, works closely with a special educator, Mrs. Sarmistha Sahoo, and a counsellor, Mrs. Sarita
