PGT Political Science Teacher Job in St. Xavier High School, Keonjhar Sadar
Teach Political Science to high school students at St. Xavier High School in Keonjhar Sadar, fostering critical thinking and civic awareness through engaging lessons. Your role will shape young minds by blending theory with real-world applications in governance, international relations, and constitutional studies.
Design and deliver syllabus-aligned lessons, ensuring students grasp concepts like democracy, political theory, and current affairs with clarity and relevance. Develop interactive teaching methods, including debates, case studies, and multimedia presentations, to make complex topics accessible. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with the school’s curriculum team to refine teaching strategies. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance to support academic growth. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as mock elections or guest lectures, to enhance students’ understanding of political processes.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline with at least two years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, while TET/CTET certification will be an added advantage.
This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs.30,000 to Rs.50,000 in Keonjhar Sadar, Odisha.
