Your Students
As a TGT Odia Teacher at St. Xavier High School, you will work with students from diverse learning levels, including those with different abilities and learning styles. What You Will Do
* Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning needs and abilities
* Develop and implement differentiated instruction to support students with varying learning styles
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and participation
* Use various teaching methods, including practical activities and collaborative learning, to enhance student understanding
* Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about student progress
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices
* Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to inclusive education
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Required Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree in Odia or a related field (M.A. or M.Sc.)
* B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with a focus on Odia language and literature
* NET or SET certification in Odia or a related field
* Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar setting
* Strong knowledge of Odia language and literature, including grammar, syntax, and literature
* Familiarity with inclusive education principles and practices
