Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Political Science lessons that foster critical thinking among students in Khorda, Khordha. Prepare class notes, worksheets and assessments aligned with the school’s academic standards. Conduct periodic quizzes, debates and model parliament sessions to enhance practical understanding of governance. Guide students in research projects on Indian polity and current affairs. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student progress in Political Science. Contribute to the School PGT Political Science Opening by assisting in curriculum reviews and co‑ordinating extracurricular clubs related to civics.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Preference given to candidates holding TET/CTET qualifications. Must possess a valid teaching eligibility as per state regulations.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of full‑time teaching experience in Political Science at the school level. Prior experience handling senior secondary classes and organizing civic engagement activities is essential.
Salary
Rs.40,000 - Rs.50,000 per month, payable as per school norms.
