Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Social Science subjects to students of classes VI to VIII
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and assessments
- Conduct parental meetings to discuss student progress and address concerns
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
- Maintain records and reports as per school requirements
- Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote education and social welfare
- Develop and implement projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional learning
- Support students with special needs, as required
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching Social Science
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you should possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field. TET/CTET certification is preferred. You should have at least 2 years of teaching experience, with a passion for Social Science and a proven track record of academic achievement.
