About This Role
Indian Public School in Sambalpur (m), Sambalpur, Odisha invites applications for the position of PGT History Teacher Job in Sambalpur. As a History PGT, you will be responsible for teaching History to students from Class 6 to 12. The school is seeking a qualified candidate who can teach History to students in a engaging and interactive manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lessons on Indian History, including Ancient, Medieval, and Modern periods.
- Develop and implement History curriculum for students from Class 6 to 12.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior teachers in the History department.
- Participate in school events and activities related to History.
- Maintain student records and update progress reports.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in school decision-making processes.
- Maintain a well-organized and well-equipped History classroom.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in History (MA History) with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with a TET/CTET qualification. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of teaching experience and a strong understanding of the History syllabus.
Salary and Benefits
