TGT Biology Teacher Position at Delhi Public School in Sundargarh
Delhi Public School in Sundargarh is seeking a dedicated TGT Biology Teacher to join its team in the Raurkela region. This role involves shaping young minds through hands-on biology education, aligning with modern curriculum standards while fostering curiosity and scientific inquiry.
The teacher will play a key role in delivering biology lessons across grades, ensuring engaging and interactive sessions that blend theory with practical experiments. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom management, and assessing student progress through assignments and projects. For biology teaching, the ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of human and plant physiology, genetics, ecology, and environmental science. Experience in designing experiments, using lab equipment safely, and encouraging critical thinking in students is highly valued. The role requires maintaining up-to-date teaching resources, preparing students for board exams, and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
A postgraduate degree in Biology with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. At least two years of teaching experience in biology or related subjects is preferred. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certification would be an asset.
