Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Art and Craft department at Dips School | Rayya, ensuring all materials, tools and workspaces are organized and safe for student use. Coordinate the procurement of supplies, maintain inventory records and negotiate with vendors to keep costs within budget. Plan and execute school‑wide art exhibitions, craft fairs and cultural events, handling logistics, display arrangements and publicity. Supervise a small team of assistants, schedule their shifts and provide on‑the‑spot guidance during activities. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct regular checks of equipment and report any hazards.
Additional Duties
Prepare weekly activity calendars aligned with the school’s academic calendar and collaborate with senior staff to integrate art projects into larger school programs. Manage the department’s budget, track expenditures and submit monthly financial reports to the administration. Keep detailed records of student participation, project outcomes and inventory usage for audit purposes. Respond to parent inquiries regarding art programs and address any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in managing art‑craft facilities, coordinating events or handling related administrative functions in an educational setting.
Skills
Strong organizational abilities, good command of budgeting and inventory management, and proficiency in basic computer applications. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, staff and external vendors.
Salary
Rs.25,000 – Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience.
