Dcm International School

Since opening the doors of DCM International School on Bahman Wala Road in Kotkapura in 2011, I have watched a modest idea grow into a place where children from the town and surrounding villages find a steady path toward their goals. The school began as a humble venture of the Babu Dalip Chand Mittal Memorial Educational Society, driven by a simple belief: education should be accessible, rigorous, and rooted in the values of our community. As the founder and principal, I have always seen our role not merely as delivering curricula but as shaping young minds who can think clearly, act responsibly, and contribute to the life of Faridkot and beyond.

Our campus spreads over 7,250 square metres of green, pollution‑free land, a space where modern classrooms sit beside a well‑stocked library, fully equipped science and computer labs, and sports facilities that include a skating rink and a swimming pool. The environment is designed to let students move freely between learning and play, whether they are conducting a chemistry experiment, coding a simple program, or practicing a sprint on the track. With round‑the‑clock security, purified drinking water, and a fleet of school buses, we have tried to remove the everyday distractions that can pull a child away from study.

We teach from nursery up to the twelfth grade, offering the three main streams of Science—PCM and PCB—Commerce, and Arts/Humanities. Instruction is delivered in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, so that every child can express ideas comfortably while also mastering a language that opens doors nationally and internationally. The CBSE affiliation ensures that our assessment standards remain transparent and that our students are prepared for the examinations they will face across India. Our teachers are selected not just for their academic credentials but for a genuine willingness to mentor, to listen, and to guide each student through the challenges of adolescence.

The families we serve come from a wide cross‑section of Kotkapura and the wider Faridkot district. Many are farmers, small‑business owners, and professionals who have placed their trust in us to provide a safe, disciplined setting for their children’s growth. We respond to that trust by maintaining a smart mobile app that lets parents track attendance, exam results, and school events in real time. Every day, we strive to honor the confidence placed in us by turning the promise of a quality education into a lived reality for the children who walk through our gates.
