Qualification
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed and at least 2 years of teaching experience in Science at the primary level. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Role Overview
The teacher will deliver the Science curriculum to PRT classes at Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Public School, using interactive methods to build curiosity and foundational understanding among young learners. The qualification enables the teacher to plan lessons, assess progress, and maintain a safe laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver age‑appropriate Science lessons in line with the state syllabus.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and simple experiments, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student performance through worksheets, quizzes, and oral questioning, providing feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with senior teachers to integrate cross‑curricular activities and support overall school initiatives.
- Keep records of attendance, grades, and any special observations as required by school administration.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Salary and Location
Salary: Rs.13,000 – Rs.21,000 per month.
