PGT Political Science Teacher Job in Firozpur, Punjab | School Recruitment

Daily responsibilities
- Deliver prepared lessons in political science for the assigned classes.
- Manage classroom environment, ensuring active participation and respectful discussion.
- Assess student understanding through formative quizzes and feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and record of student progress.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Design and update lesson plans aligned with the state curriculum and school standards.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Participate in faculty meetings to discuss student performance and curriculum improvements.
- Prepare students for district examinations and internal assessments.
Periodic responsibilities
- Conduct mid-term and end-of-term examinations, ensuring fairness and academic integrity.
- Organise and supervise school debates, model United Nations sessions, and other political science related activities.
- Attend professional development workshops and share learnings with the teaching team.
Qualification and experience
- Postgraduate degree in Political Science or related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
Salary and location
- Competitive salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month.
