Role Summary
Dass & Brown World School in Firozpur, Punjab invites applications for a Taekwando Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall development and management of our Taekwondo programme. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan, organize, and implement Taekwondo training sessions for students of different age groups and skill levels.
2. Develop and maintain a safe and conducive training environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
3. Recruit and train assistant coaches to support the programme's growth.
4. Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop and implement school sports policies.
5. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas of improvement and modify training programmes accordingly.
6. Manage and maintain all Taekwondo equipment, facilities, and resources.
7. Represent the school in local and national Taekwondo competitions, as required.
8. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and achievement.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess a graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in coaching or managing a Taekwondo programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Taekwondo, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a deep understanding of child development and education. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in managing databases and spreadsheets, is also essential.
