Job Description
Role Introduction
Kohinoor International School in Mukerian, Hoshiarpur, Punjab is looking for a full‑time TGT Hindi Teacher. The candidate will be responsible for delivering Hindi curriculum to secondary students and fostering a love for the language.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Hindi classes, covering grammar, literature and comprehension.
- Assess student understanding through questioning, quizzes and class activities.
- Maintain attendance registers and update daily lesson plans.
- Provide prompt feedback on assignments and address student queries.
Regular Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to the Head of Department.
- Design and administer unit tests and mid‑term examinations as per the academic calendar.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and co‑curricular events.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions regularly.
Periodic Responsibilities
- Organize termly Hindi exhibitions, debates or essay competitions to showcase student talent.
- Conduct end‑of‑term examinations, evaluate answer scripts and submit final grades.
- Review and update curriculum resources at the start of each academic term.
Qualification and Experience
Post‑graduate degree in Hindi or related discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification. Minimum four years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference for candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory.
Salary and Location
Salary: Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month. Location: Mukerian, Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
