Classroom Management
Maintain discipline in dance classes while fostering a positive atmosphere. Collaborate with the principal and subject coordinators to integrate dance into school events like festivals and cultural fairs. Ensure all students adhere to safety protocols during dance sessions.
Student Development
Assess students’ progress through practical evaluations and encourage participation in school-level dance competitions. Work closely with the physical education department to integrate dance as part of overall fitness programs. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence.
Equipment and Resources
Assist in setting up and maintaining dance equipment like mirrors, music players, and dance floors. Ensure all tools are clean, functional, and accessible for classes. Keep dance-related stationery and materials organized for smooth lesson planning.
Community Engagement
Promote dance as a school subject by organizing workshops or open days for parents. Share student achievements in local newspapers or social media to showcase Manav Sehyog School’s cultural initiatives. Actively participate in school events to strengthen community ties.
Experience and Qualifications
A graduate degree with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. Two years of teaching experience in dance or related subjects is preferred. Familiarity with Punjab’s educational curriculum and teaching methods is advantageous. No TET/CTET certification is required for this role.
Salary and Benefits
