Job Description
Responsibilities
Teaching
Deliver engaging dance lessons to Primary (PRT) students, focusing on basic techniques, rhythm, and cultural forms. Maintain a safe and supportive studio environment and adapt instructions to varied learning speeds.
Planning
Prepare lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum, incorporating age‑appropriate activities and assessments. Organise occasional performances and cultural events to showcase student progress.
Student Support
Observe and nurture each child’s confidence and creativity, providing constructive feedback. Communicate regularly with parents about achievements and areas for improvement.
Coordination
Collaborate with the head of department and fellow teachers to integrate dance with other arts subjects and school programs. Participate in staff meetings and school functions as required.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET examinations.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, specifically handling primary level dance classes.
Salary
Rs.14,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
