PRT English Teacher Job in Jalandhar, Punjab | School Recruitment
Teach English as a core subject to students in Class I to V at Manav Sehyog School, fostering a vibrant and interactive learning environment. This role focuses on developing language skills through engaging classroom activities, ensuring students grasp grammar, vocabulary, and communication effectively.
Daily responsibilities include conducting interactive English lessons, using age-appropriate methods to keep students engaged. Prepare and deliver lesson plans aligned with the curriculum, ensuring clear and concise explanations. Engage students in group discussions, storytelling sessions, and simple writing exercises to enhance their language proficiency. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere while addressing individual student needs.
Regularly assess students’ progress through oral presentations, small group activities, and periodic quizzes. Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to integrate English teaching with other subjects where possible. Participate in school events like cultural fests, elocution contests, and language workshops to promote English usage outside the classroom.
Periodically review lesson plans and teaching methods to improve student outcomes. Attend staff meetings and workshops organized by Manav Sehyog School to stay updated on teaching best practices. Ensure all teaching materials, like flashcards, worksheets, and audio-visual aids, are well-maintained and accessible.
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with at least two years of teaching experience in English. Possession of TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory. Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline with good communication skills.
