Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Political Science lessons to students, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Design and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s educational objectives and the state curriculum.
- Incorporate current affairs, case studies, and interactive activities to make political concepts relatable and understandable.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Mentor and guide students in preparing for competitive exams and extracurricular debates or model‑parliament sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate interdisciplinary projects that enhance students’ understanding of political science in real‑world contexts.
Qualifications
- Holds a Master’s degree in Political Science or a related field.
- Possesses a valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certificate.
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrates a strong grasp of political theories, governance structures, and contemporary political issues.
Experience
- Minimum of four years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably as a PGT in Political Science.
- Proven track record of engaging students and improving academic outcomes.
- Experience in designing and delivering curriculum that meets state educational standards.
Salary
- Competitive remuneration ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
