English (NTT) Vacancy in Ludhiana West, Ludhiana, Punjab
BCM Basant City School
Job Description
The children who walk into Bcm Basant City School every morning are curious, energetic, and full of questions. In their early years, they are learning not just to read and write, but to express themselves with confidence. An NTT English Teacher in Ludhiana, Punjab has the special opportunity to shape these foundational skills, turning simple words into stories, poems, and conversations that stay with them for life.
Your role is to be more than a teacher; you become a guide who helps young learners discover the joy of language. You will create a classroom where every child feels safe to speak, make mistakes, and grow. Through songs, rhymes, and interactive activities, you’ll build their vocabulary and pronunciation. You’ll also work closely with parents to reinforce learning at home, ensuring that English becomes a language of comfort, not fear.
You will plan daily lessons that match the NTT curriculum while keeping activities playful and engaging. You’ll conduct storytelling sessions that spark imagination and role-plays that build speaking confidence. You’ll assess each child’s progress through informal observations and simple exercises, not heavy exams. You’ll maintain a classroom library with colorful books and flashcards to encourage reading habits. You’ll organize special events like English Rhyme Days or Storytelling Weeks to make learning memorable. You’ll collaborate with fellow teachers to align English lessons with themes like festivals or nature. You’ll also support new students in adjusting to the English environment, especially those from non-English speaking homes.
To join Bcm Basant City School as an English Teacher, you should be a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET or CTET is not mandatory, it is an added advantage. You must have at least three years of experience teaching English to young children, preferably in a play-based or activity-oriented setting. Familiarity with phonics, storytelling, and classroom management for ages 3 to 6 is essential. You should be patient, creative, and able to connect with both children and parents.
Bcm Basant City School is known for its warm, child-centered approach where learning happens through exploration and play. The school values teachers who bring fresh ideas and a nurturing presence to the classroom. Located in Ludhiana West, it serves a diverse community and fosters an inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to participate.
You will receive a monthly salary between Rs.15,000 and Rs.30,000 based on your qualifications and experience. In addition, you’ll enjoy benefits like a supportive work culture, access to teaching resources, and opportunities for professional development.
To apply, send your updated resume and a brief cover letter explaining your teaching philosophy and experience with young learners to the email address provided. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a classroom demonstration and interaction with the school leadership.
