Day-to-Day Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and delivering lessons on English literature and language to students of classes 11th and 12th.
- Creating engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Providing guidance and support to students in preparing for board exams and career guidance.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participating in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development and implementation.
- Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Engaging with parents through regular progress reports and meetings.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a postgraduate degree in English (M.A.) or a related field, with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. Prior experience as a PGT in English or a similar role is essential, with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
