Your responsibilities
Plan weekly dance sessions aligned with the school’s arts curriculum for primary classes. Incorporate digital rhythm tracks and motion sensors during practice to refine timing and coordination. Organize annual dance festivals where students showcase fusion performances combining classical and contemporary styles. Collaborate with music teachers to blend audio-visual elements in dance routines. Prepare students for inter-school competitions and cultural events across Punjab. Maintain digital portfolios for each student to track progress over the year. Attend monthly pedagogy workshops to update teaching strategies with new tools and trends.
Qualifications and digital literacy requirements
Graduation in Performing Arts or Dance Education from a recognized university is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with specialization in fine arts is preferred. Basic proficiency in music software, video editing apps, and digital rhythm machines is essential. Prior experience using smart classroom tools in dance instruction will be an advantage.
Skills for the modern classroom
Strong communication to guide young learners through expressive movement exercises. Creativity to design age-appropriate choreography sequences. Patience and adaptability when integrating technology into physical training. Collaborative mindset to work with arts faculty and event coordinators.
Salary and benefits
