Your key responsibilities will include:
* Teaching music theory and appreciation to students of all ages and skill levels
* Developing and implementing engaging music lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
* Assisting in the planning and execution of school events and concerts
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop a comprehensive music program
* Maintaining a well-organized and well-equipped music room
* Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Participating in school-wide music activities and events
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
To be eligible for this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. A certification in teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or a related field is an added advantage. If you have a certification in teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or a related field, it's a plus. A teaching experience of at least two years is preferred. If you have a TET or CTET certification, it's a plus.
