Role Summary
Modern School is looking for a Computer Lab Assistant to manage and maintain its advanced computer lab in Baran. The role ensures smooth operation of digital resources for students and staff. This position plays a key part in supporting the school’s administrative and academic infrastructure.
What You Will Do
Maintain all computers, printers, and peripherals in the lab at Modern School.
Install, update, and troubleshoot software and operating systems regularly.
Assist staff and students with login issues, hardware problems, and basic software guidance.
Keep accurate records of lab usage, maintenance logs, and inventory of lab assets.
Coordinate with the IT coordinator to align lab resources with school policies.
Train new users on safe internet practices and lab etiquette.
Organize lab schedules to avoid conflicts during classes and exams.
Report recurring technical issues to management for timely resolution.
Eligibility
Must Have:
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MCA
Minimum 2 years of experience in lab maintenance or technical support
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and common office software
Good to Have:
Basic knowledge of networking and server management
Experience in a school or educational environment
Any certification in hardware or networking (e.g., A+, CCNA)
