Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Coordinator to join our team at a leading school in a Tier 4 area. Minimum Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (Education, Administration, or related discipline)
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or position within education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Details:
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development
- Holiday entitlement: 20 days per annum, plus bank holidays
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage academic programs, events, and activities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with academic staff, students, and parents
- Provide administrative support to the academic department, including scheduling, record-keeping, and data analysis
- Assist with the recruitment and induction of new staff members
- Manage and coordinate the allocation of resources, including textbooks, equipment, and facilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to support academic excellence and student well-being
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform academic decision-making
- Coordinate and participate in school events, including open days, parent-teacher conferences, and staff meetings
- Develop and maintain accurate records, including student records, attendance, and academic progress
