Role and Responsibilities
The TGT Physical Education Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical fitness and teamwork. Lesson planning will be carried out with a focus on skill development, safety, and inclusivity. Curriculum alignment will be maintained by integrating physical activities with academic goals, ensuring a holistic learning experience. Assessment design will include formative checks, skill demonstrations, and reflective journals to gauge student progress. Continuous student progress tracking will be achieved through regular performance logs and parent‑teacher meetings.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Physical Education or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed required for teaching positions; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of 2 years experience in a school setting, with proven ability to manage diverse student groups and conduct sports events.
Compensation
Rs.16,000 - Rs.30,000 per month. Full‑time employment with benefits aligned with state guidelines.
