Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver Political Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for Classes 11 and 12. Prepare students for board examinations with focused revision sessions and model question papers. Organize field visits to government institutions or courts to provide real-world exposure. Maintain updated knowledge of political developments to integrate relevant examples into teaching. Prepare teaching aids like charts, mind maps, and PowerPoint presentations on topics such as federalism, democracy, and international relations. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students. Collaborate with other faculty members to plan interdisciplinary projects related to civics and governance. Participate in school events such as Model United Nations or mock parliament to foster interest in Political Science.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Political Science with a minimum of 55% marks. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this teaching position. Preference will be given to candidates with CTET or TET certification.
