About This Role
Ryan International School in Jaipur, Rajasthan invites applications for the position of a full-time TGT English Teacher to cater to the academic needs of students in grades 9-12. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching English language and literature, and will be an integral part of the school's English department.
How You Will Teach
As a TGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English lessons to students. You will use a range of teaching methods, including group discussions, debates, role-plays, and presentations to make learning English exciting and interactive. You will also utilize digital tools and multimedia resources to supplement your teaching.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and teach English lessons to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and students
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the English department
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in school events and activities that promote English language and literature
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the position of TGT English Teacher, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. Preference will be given to candidates who have a good command of English language and literature, and have experience in teaching English to students in grades 9-12.
