PGT Zoology Teacher Job in Jhunjhunu offers a full‑time opportunity at New Indian Sr. Sec. School to design and deliver engaging zoology lessons to senior secondary students. Reporting and scope
The teacher reports directly to the Head of Science Department and collaborates with fellow science faculty to align interdisciplinary projects.
Core duties
Curriculum development and delivery
Plan and conduct weekly classes on animal biology, taxonomy, ecology, and conservation. Use multimedia resources, field visits, and laboratory sessions to enhance learning.
Assessment and feedback
Prepare and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain detailed records of progress.
Student guidance and mentorship
Mentor students preparing for competitive exams such as UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET, and other state level tests. Conduct doubt‑solving sessions and guide research projects.
Co‑ordination and collaboration
Work with the school’s science department to organize science fairs, workshops, and inter‑school competitions. Coordinate with the principal for curriculum updates and resource allocation.
Community engagement
Arrange field excursions to local wildlife sanctuaries and agricultural farms, encouraging students to apply classroom knowledge in real‑world settings.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Zoology or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred.
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary setting.
Strong knowledge of current zoological research and teaching methodologies.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.30,000 – Rs.70,000 per month.
