Day-to-Day Duties
1. Maintaining the school library, including cataloging, classifying, and shelving books.
2. Supervising and guiding students while they use the library.
3. Developing and implementing a library curriculum for students.
4. Collaborating with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
5. Managing library budgets and ordering new books and materials.
6. Monitoring and enforcing library rules and regulations.
7. Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in librarianship.
8. Maintaining accurate records and reports on library usage and collection development.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, you must have a postgraduate degree and two years of experience in a library setting. You should also be proficient in computer applications and have a good understanding of library management software.
Preferred Skills
Experience with integrated library systems (ILS) and online public access catalogs (OPAC) is preferred. Familiarity with Rajasthan Education Department's policies and procedures is also desirable.
Salary and Benefits
