Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement weekly English activity plans aligned with the school’s early learning framework. Incorporate visual aids, puppets, and interactive games to keep children engaged and motivated.
Monitor each child’s progress through observation and simple assessments. Maintain records of language development milestones and share feedback with parents during informal interactions.
Collaborate with other NTT teachers to plan themed learning weeks, such as “Story Week” or “Rhyming Week,” to reinforce English through fun projects. Integrate local cultural elements to make language learning relatable for Jodhpur children.
Conduct regular classroom observations of junior NTT teachers and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching methods. Organize micro-teaching sessions to build their confidence in handling English activities.
Organize monthly “Show and Tell” sessions where children present simple English sentences about their favorite objects or family members. These activities boost confidence and speaking skills.
Plan and execute special events like “English Rhyme Day” or “Phonics Fair” to celebrate language learning. Involve parents in these events to create a supportive home-school connection.
Participate in school-wide English department meetings to align early learning goals with primary-level expectations. Share insights on child-friendly teaching strategies with the team.
Support the transition of NTT children to Grade 1 by ensuring they are familiar with basic English vocabulary and sentence patterns.
Eligibility
Postgraduate in English with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in early childhood or primary English. Preference will be given to candidates with B.Ed, M.Ed, NET, or SET qualifications.
