Special Educator Job in Jodhpur Urban, Rajasthan | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
About This Role
Shree Aainath English Academy is inviting applications for the position of Special Educator in Balesar, Jodhpur Urban. This is a full-time role for an experienced professional who can lead special education initiatives. The selected candidate will work closely with school leadership to design and implement inclusive programs for students with diverse learning needs.
What You Will Do
1. Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in coordination with parents and therapists.
2. Train classroom assistants and shadow teachers on inclusive teaching techniques and classroom adaptations.
3. Conduct regular assessments of student progress and maintain detailed documentation for school records and government reporting.
4. Organize monthly parent meetings to explain student goals and suggest home-based support strategies.
5. Coordinate with external agencies such as occupational therapists and speech pathologists for integrated support plans.
6. Supervise the setup and maintenance of sensory rooms and adaptive learning corners within the school premises.
7. Prepare quarterly reports on special education outcomes for submission to the school management and local education authorities.
8. Assist in organizing awareness workshops for teachers on recognizing and supporting diverse learning styles.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Special Education or a related field from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a specialization in Special Education is mandatory. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in school administration or leadership roles in special education settings. Basic computer proficiency in MS Office and data management is required.
