Career Point Gurukul in Kota is seeking a dedicated PGT Physics Teacher to join its team and inspire students with advanced physics education. The PGT Physics Teacher will report directly to the science faculty head, aligning with curriculum planning and student mentorship. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, experiment supervision, and curriculum development tailored to Kota’s academic standards.
Core Duties
Teaching senior secondary physics classes, ensuring alignment with CBSE/ICSE syllabi and exam patterns. Conducting lab experiments and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts, often using modern equipment available in Career Point Gurukul’s science labs.
Developing and updating lesson plans, worksheets, and project-based activities to enhance student engagement. Assisting in organizing science fairs, competitions, and outreach programs, particularly those focused on physics and engineering applications.
Monitoring student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with other teachers to address learning gaps. Preparing and grading exams, including board and internal assessments, to maintain academic excellence.
Ensuring compliance with school policies on safety protocols during lab work and maintaining organized records of student performance and attendance.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this PGT Physics Teacher role. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. At least two years of teaching experience in senior secondary physics is required, preferably in a reputed school or institution.
The ideal candidate should have a strong command of physics concepts, including mechanics, electromagnetism, and modern physics, with experience adapting teaching methods for diverse student abilities. Familiarity with Kota’s academic landscape and a commitment to fostering critical thinking in students are essential.
