Role Summary

Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Geography Teacher at Delhi Public World International School, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and delivering engaging Geography lessons to students from Class 9 to 12
* Developing and implementing curriculum for Board exams, ensuring students achieve excellent results
* Coaching students for Board exams, providing individualized attention and guidance
* Conducting regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide educational initiatives
* Participating in department meetings to discuss curriculum development and teacher professional development
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Contributing to the school's Geography department's growth and development
* Supporting school events and activities, such as field trips and cultural festivals
* Providing guidance and support to junior Geography teachers and students
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A post-graduate degree in Geography or a related field
* A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification, preferably with TET or CTET qualification
