Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare structured lesson plans aligned with the CBSE Physics syllabus for senior secondary classes. Conduct regular unit tests and term exams with detailed feedback for each student. Organize monthly Physics exhibitions where students present working projects. Supervise the Physics lab and maintain inventory of consumables and equipment. Mentor students for competitive exams such as KVPY and Olympiads. Collaborate with the science department on inter-house Science Quiz and Model-Making contests. Lead parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic progress in Physics. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum review sessions for Physics content.
Required Qualifications
Post-graduate degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Physical Science or equivalent from an NCTE-recognized institution. TET/CTET certification is an added advantage but not mandatory. Fluency in Hindi and English is essential for effective classroom communication.
