Job Title
PGT Zoology Teacher
Responsibilities
Teach Zoology to classes IX and X with engaging classroom activities and practical sessions. Design lesson plans that align with the state curriculum and assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and lab reports. Coordinate with other science teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and manage school science exhibitions. Maintain accurate attendance records and submit periodic performance reports. Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions to keep teaching methods current.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Zoology or related field. B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory for teaching positions. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Ability to use modern teaching aids and laboratory equipment. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting. Experience in conducting laboratory experiments and field trips related to zoology is desirable.
Salary
Rs.35,000 – Rs.60,000 per month
