Role Summary
We are seeking a well-qualified and experienced PRT Science Teacher to join our team at Delhi Public World International School in Sikar, Rajasthan. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students in grades 6-10. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Science and a proven track record of achieving academic excellence.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in grades 6-10.
2. Develop and implement Science curricula that meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
3. Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests and exams.
4. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
5. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
6. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
7. Develop and implement Science projects and experiments that promote hands-on learning.
8. Use technology to enhance Science education and engagement.
9. Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum for grades 6-10
- Proven track record of achieving academic excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience teaching Science in a school setting
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in educational software
