Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in grades 6-10
- Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, incorporating local case studies and real-world examples
- Engage with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Participate in school events and activities, such as cultural fairs and educational exhibitions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in Geography education
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed certification
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience as a TGT in a recognized school
- Strong subject matter knowledge and passion for Geography education
