Responsibilities
Teaching
Deliver engaging Botany lessons to classes at the PGT level, using a variety of instructional strategies and resources.
Prepare lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and assessment standards.
Planning
Collaborate with the faculty team to develop annual teaching schedules and curriculum enhancements.
Integrate practical laboratory sessions and field trips into the teaching plan to reinforce theoretical concepts.
Assessment
Design and administer formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
Provide timely feedback and support to students to help them achieve learning objectives.
Student Support
Mentor students in extracurricular science activities, such as biology clubs and inter-school competitions.
Offer guidance on academic and career choices related to Botany and related fields.
Coordination
Coordinate with the science department to ensure consistency in teaching methods and resource allocation.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Botany or a related science discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the PGT level in a school setting.
Salary
Rs.40,000 – Rs.70,000 per month.
Location
Udaipur, Rajasthan.
