Job Description
Primary Duties:
Teach Economics to students in grades 9-12 following the prescribed curriculum and syllabus.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of economic principles.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, develop, and review the school's academic programs and policies.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, open houses, and other school events to foster strong school-home partnerships.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Adhere to the school's policies, procedures, and guidelines, including those related to safety, discipline, and professional conduct.

Achieve a minimum of 90% pass rate in Economics for all classes taught.
Ensure that at least 70% of students in each class demonstrate a measurable improvement in their understanding and application of economic concepts throughout the academic year.
